Summertime Streets in Edinburgh: City Centre Traffic Updates
From 28 July – 1 September there will be temporary road closures in Edinburgh city centre for Summertime Streets.
This initiative from the City of Edinburgh Council is in place on streets around the Old Town to help make our busy streets easier and safer to walk around, great news!
The roads affected are Lawnmarket and High Street. If you are visiting us from an Edinburgh Bus Tour please check the map below for the diverted route. The closest bus stop is now on George IV Bridge, just a few minutes’ walk from our attraction. You can find out more on their website here.
If you are being dropped off in a private car or taxi, Ramsey Lane is right next to our building, or George IV Bridge is the closest main road. The nearest place to park your car is Castle Terrace NCP. Castle Terrace NCP is around a 10 minute walk from the attraction and you can find up-to-date pricing and a map here.
