This Halloween, our attraction is getting even more spirited, with live characters appearing throughout selected afternoons and evenings – from a wonderfully wicked witch and marvellously mad scientist to roaming Halloween favourites.
Family-friendly Halloween fun is included with standard admission.

This Halloween, things are getting even stranger at Camera Obscura & World of Illusions…
As you explore our five floors of illusions, keep your eyes peeled – you never know who you might meet!
Our Halloween characters are coming to life, with a wonderfully wicked witch, a marvellously mad scientist and other curious characters appearing around the attraction throughout our Halloween celebrations.
Meet our witch and mad scientist in their spooky hideaways during selected afternoons and evenings. They'll be creating mischief, posing for photos, lending a helping hand with our Halloween Hunt and perhaps even surprising you when you least expect it!
You'll also encounter other Halloween characters roaming throughout the attraction, adding extra fun, interaction and family-friendly frights to your adventure.
Expect spooky surprises, brilliant photo opportunities and plenty of Halloween mischief – all designed to be fun rather than frightening.
Character appearances are included with standard admission.
Meet the Witch — photo moments, playful interaction and help with the trail. On Floor 3.
Enter the Mad Scientist's World — strange experiments, silly surprises and plenty of madcap interaction. On Floor 5.
Watch Out for Roaming Characters — Halloween visitors can pop up anywhere as families explore. Throughout the building.
Take On Our Haunting Halloween Hunt
Join us on a Haunting Halloween Hunt at Camera Obscura & World of Illusions every day from 10 Oct - 1 Nov 2026.
Our lovable mascot, Dizzy, has created a spook squad and dressed up as five different famous Halloween creatures. Frankenstein to Dracula, Mummy to Werewolf, can you track down this ghoulish gathering during your visit? A different character lurks in the shadows on each floor and if you find them all a sweet treat reward waits for you in our Gift Shop at the end of your visit.

We’re getting into the spine-tingling spirit throughout the attraction. There’ll be themed decorations, ghostly projections, scary portraits and hair-raising photo ops.
Download our ghoulish colouring in sheets of Dizzy in their various Halloween costumes to decorate at home!
