Dogs are a part of the family, which is why we love welcoming them in to Camera Obscura to enjoy the day out too. It's an experience no dog has ever had before - they can outgrow their owners in our Ames Room, get lost in our Mirror Maze and see where their fur is especially fluffy in our Thermal Camera. You can take your furry friend around the whole attraction and even enjoy a Camera Obscura show together. All we do is double check that the rest of the audience is comfortable with a dog in the room. We've even been known to welcome other animals (cats for example) in to explore so if you're wondering about your pet, just get in touch and we'll see how we can help.

Upon arrival they'll be greeted by one of our guides (cuddles and ear scratches encouraged) then whilst they enjoy a tasty treat, their human can listen to a quick explanation of our exhibitions and the fun that lies ahead. Our historic building has six floors with no lift, but don't worry, we will provide dogs with water at any point of their visit so they don’t get dehydrated. Don’t worry about accidents either - we are happy to help. It is worth it to know that the whole family (dog included) can have a fun day out.

There are lot's of paw-some photo opportunities throughout our attraction so that you'll have the wackiest memories to look back on with your pet. We love to see them so please tag us on Instagram - we've got lots of pet pics on there already so check it out before your visit for some creative inspiration.
