Visitors to Camera Obscura & World of Illusions will see the King in a whole new light this Coronation, with the unveiling of our new, one-of-a-kind, colourful pop art display.
This unique new exhibit has been designed by our in-house team here at Camera Obscura specially to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III.
The colourful pop art graphic of the King will be displayed inside our Giant Kaleidosphere exhibit, showing recognisable profiles of His Majesty reflected hundreds of times. Visitors can marvel at the Giant Kaleidosphere which is the first interactive experience in our entrance area.
On the day of the Coronation, Saturday 6 May, Camera Obscura & World of Illusions will be open from 9am-10pm. Full opening hours for the weekend can be found here.
General Manager Andrew Johnson said ‘It’s fantastic that our talented in-house team can create new, unique experiences and exhibits for everyone to enjoy. We love sharing quirky ways to see the world a new light and hope our visitors will share our enjoyment of this different way of seeing our new King.’
The immersive experience in our Giant Kaleidosphere will only be available to see from 5-8 May 2023.
