Exploring the city post lockdown

 

The sun is shining, spring is in the air, and the sweet feeling of lockdown easing has us filled with anticipation. It has been a long old winter, and if you're anything like us, you just want a good day out with loved ones - but what's open and when?! 

 

Not to worry, leave the confusion behind; we've got you covered with a bit of help from our friends at VisitScotland. We've compiled a list of when some of our favourite things to do in Edinburgh are reopening.

Thinking of a wild weekend with the kids? The zoo is open now to all Scottish residents from 10am till 6pm every day!

 

Jupiter Artland

Missing a slice of culture in your life? Explore the outdoor exhibitions and sculptures of Jupiter Artland. Open from 10am until 5pm. 

 

Gorgie Farm

Wholesome family time with animals, the perfect way to destress! Open from 9:30am until 4pm, seven days a week.

 

Royal botanic gardens

The beautiful Botanics and green spaces are open every day from 10am until 5pmThe last time slots are 4pm entry.

Camera Obscura & World of Illusions 

Explore five floors of mind-boggling fun, duh?! A great day out for the whole family. Open from 10am until late.

 

National Museum of Scotland 

Wander the classic collections of the National Museum of Scotland, open from 10am until 4.30pm every day. Pre-booking is required.

 

Chocolatarium

Looking for a sweet treat? Indulge in a chocolate tour with the lovely guides at the Chocolatarium! 

 

Craigmillar Castle 

Calling all Outlander lovers! The medieval castle reopens on 30 April, from 10am until 4pm.
